Brilliant 2010

I can look back and say it was a fruitful year for Sandy and myself. The fruit is doing well and growing to be naughtier than me.

Luca brought the entire family joy and lots of laughter. He once in awhile also causes us to worry especially when he isn't well but that sure is part and parcel of growing up.

Time flies ... I was just reading a previous blog entry titled 'The end of 2009' and 'It's 2010' to see what I wished for and if I achieved what I set out for in 2010.

I did. I got through it well despite an increase in expenses and I am thankful it levelled out with an increase in salary and a possible promotion too.

What more can I ask except for the family to be happier, healthier and well, wealthier in the many more years ahead.

For a start, The goal in 2011 is to start saving more ... At least half of my earnings without compromising on my spending habits.

A good sign? Yes. It indeed is as I am thankful for the blessings from Heaven above.

I also hope to have more leisure travel with Sandy and the family.

Likelihood the first trip will be with my parents and brothers to a nearby beach resort. The other two places will be Japan and India where Sandy and I can take some time away to enjoy the cuisines each respective country have.

Let's make it happen.

Wishing all a Happy New Year!!

Luca aren't feeling well...

Like all children, Luca gets his share of falling ill and this time it seems like he's been hit by stomach flu.

Unusually cranky this afternoon, Luca threw up and showed signs of being uncomfortable and irritated. We just knew he wasn't in the right state. Obviously not the cheerful and happy boy he is all the time.

Maybe it's the instincts of parents and are we glad we took him for a check at the doctor.

Stomach flu for adults can be really terrible and surely worst for children. As I input this blog entry, the little one cries out loud and as a father, there is nothing much I can do to make him feel better except to utter words of prayers for him to recover quickly.

Let's hope he recovers on time for the new year countdown and be his usual self again ... and may the family be strong and healthy once more.

His First Christmas ..

Can you remember how you spent your first Christmas as a toddler? I doubt you remember but I sure want to have my first Christmas as a father recorded.

Nothing fancy but just simple get together with family and quite a bit of photo taking for the little one.

...on this very day, I proposed to Sandy in front of family and my was I embarrassed when Sandy decided to run away. Thankfully she was stopped by the waiters at the door.

Today, we are happily married with the little one resembling very much of Sandy. Time flies really quickly ....

Christmas ...

Forgive me for not taking time to fill you up with what's happening on my end as I have been busy at work and at home too.

Yes. Luca is getting quicker than I thought and just recently, we found out that it is very important to buckle a child when he or she is in a stroller.

There was one day when we found him holding on to the safety strap, dangling from the stroller with his toes merely touching the floor. It sure scared the wits out of me when that happened but after awhile, we realized we should have taken a photo instead to remember that priceless look on his face. He looked like he enjoyed playing tarzan.

In a week it'll be Christmas and the first for Luca. I wonder if he'll enjoy the decoration if we brought him to check out the lightings in town. But am really afraid of the crowd and worst the traffic jam because the entire population will just appear at Orchard Road.

Anyway, wishing all a Merry Christmas!!
