Bristol Day 13

It is Halloween and it is a huge festival here in the Western world. You'll see more ghouls, hulks and zombies more than you ever get to watch on TV. There was even a parade.Phew.

Attended a party that started at 11pm and frankly, was feeling so sleepy by then thus I decided to head home after some drinks. The party was at Zen, a Zouk lookalike or 'feel alike'. Loud music and crazy people dancing around. Frankly, most were Chinese students who partied away the night.

Well, many things happened while I was at the casino today. Some idiot accidentally splashed some beer on me and he just walked away without apologising. I shouted at hin to stop but he walked on and guess what? I grabbed him by the hand and shouted at him to apologise. My. I was really furious and almost wanted to swing a punch at him to knock him out. Thankfully I was as cool as a cucumber or perhaps, I was just fabricating the later part of the story. As usual, I just let it happen and did nothing but walked to the restroom to dry myself. If this happened in Singapore, that guy is freaking dead meat.

So I managed to meet up with some Bristol folks and they were nice. Malaysian Chinese who sort of decided that life in the UK would be better than across the causeway.

It is 1.39sm now and this is the first time I stayed up so late into the night. I think it will probably be the last time because I am feeling so sleepy now.

Saw the fish & chips meal I had? Geez. I think it has been overrated. Firstly, you can't eat in with proper cutlery. Secondly, when they packed it up you will have to unwrap it and think about your approach. Should it be this way or the other? Is this how the locals eat it? I didn't like it but it was an experience because I stood in some back lane to finish my meal. Didn't want people to look at me awkwardly just in case I was having it the wrong way. As usual, that is me. :)

Dinner was steak at the casino. It was really superb. I loved it. Yes, I couldn't resist the steak when the waitress told me it was their best dish available in the restaurant. Steak and a hot chocolate - 12 pounds. Well, it was afterall in a casino whereby most patrons would have contributed a lot to the growth of the casino's revenue thus the huge discount for a 'stake'.
