Bristol Day 15

Did I count the number of days right?

Well, Monday blues for me? Not really. At least another 6 more Mondays and I should be out of here and back in the arms of Sandy. Miss my bed and bolster at home.

The day went by pretty quick today as we 'evacuated' when the fire alarm went off. The first time it rang at 1515hrs and that we were told is a fire drill and we need not evacuate but at 1545hrs, another alarm went off and everyone just stood up and got going thus I climbed down 11 storeys just like my other colleagues. False alarm but it was too late, we were across the road trying to spot the blazing fire.

Before all that happened, I had lunch with a fellow colleague at Shanghai Nights. Nope. Jackie Chan starred in Shanghai Knights so I didn't see him at the Chinese restaurant. I had soba. Yes, I know that's Japanese but they served it there. Siew Mai for starters and my colleague ordered a roast duck and roast pork rice. Looked pretty good and might just try it next time.

Dinner was Bella Italia and frankly was disappointed with the linguini. I think I could do better myself. The sauce was bland and too little but the portion was huge. Soup was a good choice and hot chocolate was superb. No beer for me today because Sandy was nagging on the phone about my daily drinking habit. What to do? This is a beer drinking nation.
