"A lonely walk through the cold
Wishing someone was here for me to hold
The leaves falling off the tree
Believing now that it is free
I put on my earphones and hear some familiar sound
But the songs that play bring tears to the ground"

---------------
I feel like this all the time. Cold and lonely. Sometimes feeling carefree but end of the day I just miss home. Nothing beats being at home. Really.
Many times I find myself singing this very familiar song. A cantonese song by Leslie Cheung and surely one of my favourite.
The lyrics are just so meaningful and it just fits my life right now. Take a read or if you know how to sing it, go ahead and sing it because that is what I do as I take those lonely steps alone back to the apartment - dark, lonely and with noone to talk to except the sky which at times gets filled with stars. Of course there are times when the stars leave me to be alone only with the winter cold and the drizzling rain.
I am sure the below video will seem familiar. Leslie won some awards in 1986/87 and that was when I was still a young boy with no worries and truly spoilt- even till now.
