Spit Splat ...

For the saliva ejectors - STOP SPITTING !

Do you ever think these group of people would easily give up spitting? I doubt so. I think its a mindset these group of people have. They believe that they own the roads and streets of Singapore.

What really upsets me most are students donning school uniforms contributing to saliva patches splatted on floors of our supposedly clean and green city. Why the uncouth and uncivilized action ? Is there really something wrong with our education system or the way these students are brought up at home? I thought there was a subject called Moral Studies. Are the schools no longer teaching them? If only the law allows them to be sent to a whipping ground in Changi.

What can we say when we see the older generation do the same?Years of experience with their tongues, they swiftly pack a ball of saliva in their mouths and shoot it off, straight and accurate onto the newly laid ceramics of a new hawker centre that was officially opened by some State Minister on the very same day. I wish I could just walk up to him and slap him with a S$1000 fine. Can't they just place their unwanted saliva into a piece of tissue paper and throw it into the bin. Well, who knows, they might be thinking that when liquid touches the ground, it evaporates after time but should they use a piece of tissue to collect their saliva, they will do the same and leave the tissue thrown on the floor. Both ways will be just as bad thus why not just save the trees from being cut down and just conveniently spit on the floor. Funny thought isn't it? Maybe not.
